Suzy Allegra is a Renaissance woman. She expresses herself joyfully and lovingly in many ways. While she is considered an emerging artist, art is also her history. In the last several years, Suzys evolved full circle back to her roots as an artist. Even though she was an art major in college, she abandoned it for a traditional career in teaching, as was common for her generation (the early boomers).
Pursuing her soul’s passion, she had six art shows in the first three years. More are planned in her new home state, Hawaii. Her unique mixed-media-collage style has captured the hearts of patrons in the U.S., Europe, and New Zealand, hanging in both corporate headquarters and personal collections.
Scenery, most often island scenes; hearts, always a favorite; and metaphorical abstracts are the subjects that seize Suzy’s imagination. Her paintings emerge through her; they’re not created by her logical mind. It is the memory, movement, and the emotion that are expressed in her art.

Suzy also designs customized art for discriminating patrons who want something completely unique and produced just for them. Suzy has been featured in close to a hundred TV, radio, and print media in over 30 cities across the US.
